Gateway to the Heavens
by Karen L French
No single way to acheive spiritual intuitive knowledge of any subject, such as geometry, is better than any other. Insight into the profound nature of simplicity within diversity is our goal, not conversion to any specific point of view or religion. Simplicity has far greater substance and is personally more rewarding than the complex, fantastic, instantaneous and bizarre. All spiritual ways speak of the same form of insight into true reality and all ultimately lead to the same source of that knowledge. Languages may differ, but the symbols used are archetypal.
The eminent psychologist Carl G Jung (1875 - 1961) discovered that certain geometric and other symbolic patterns tended to recur spontaneously in the drawings, paintings and descriptive dreams of his patients. He believed that these patterns were objective and spontaneous, not man-made signposts, as important to the design of the human mind today as they were in previous centuries as symbols of the Divine at work. Jung concluded that certain symbols appear universally as mental images that are inherited by all of us from the appearance of our species. Such inherited traits are known as 'archetypes'. He also maintained that these symbols are part of a 'collective unconsciousness', whose foundations are the experiences of our ancestors.

What others are saying about this book
Having put aside personal barriers of deep-rooted scepticism, liberated my imagination and opened myself to a different conscious experience of shapes and numbers, I found myself, much to my surprise, enjoying the whole experience. What is more, I now see the shapes and patterns jumping out at me wherever I go. Facinating!
